How to manage Holidays and Saturday off?

The No-Show Fee policy #

The applicability of the No-Show Fee can be managed. For detailed guidelines, please refer to the document: How to Manage No-Show fee for an office?

The No-Show Fee policy is updated and the 24-hour cancellation window is based only on working days and excludes holidays or scheduled off days (like Saturdays). Here’s a breakdown of how this works:

  1. Cancellation Window: The 24-hour rule applies only to working days.
  2. Excluding Non-Working Days: If a cancellation happens when there is a holiday or an off day (like Saturday) in between, those days will not be counted in the 24-hour calculation.
  3. Example Scenarios:
    • If a business is closed on Saturday & Sunday, and an appointment is on Monday at 10 AM, the latest cancellation without a fee would be Friday at 10 AM (not Sunday at 10 AM, since weekends are off).
    • If there’s a public holiday on Friday, and an appointment is on Saturday at 11 AM, then cancellation without a fee should be done before Thursday at 11 AM, excluding the holiday.

Saturday OFF/ON #

  • Got to Settings > Practices > Manage Locations > Settings Icon

 

 

  • Saturday can be marked as ON or OFF with the radio buttons.
  • Click on the Update button to apply the Setting.

 

 

Holidays #

  • Go to Settings > Office Setup > Holidays

 

 

  • Click on the Add button to add a new Holiday

 

 

  • Add the Details of the Holiday like Date, Status, and Title
  • Click on the Add button to save the Holiday

 

 

  • The Holiday will be added to the Holidays

 

 

  • Holidays can be edited with the Edit icon
  • Holidays can be deleted with the Delete icon
