How to Use Speech Module on EMR #

• Go To “EMR”
• Click on “Progress Notes” Tab
• Click on “Speech” Button

• A screen displaying the “Speech Module” will be appear on your screen

• Click on “Record” Button

• Say “Period” before using the “Smart Phrases”/ “Headings” of Progress notes, it will automatically recognize your speech and transcribe your text onto the screen
• Click on the “Stop” Button
• You Can “Clear” and “Edit” your Text
• You can complete your “Progress Notes” using the speech module
• Once you’ve completed the process of the speech module, click on the “Process and Send” Button to complete the procedure. All data will be written into the progress notes.
