How to View MD Tab Notes

Viewing MD tab notes #

Legend has now applied restriction on users who can view the MD tab notes. There are two settings that determine which notes can be viewed by each user.

  1. View all MD notes of all providers
  2. View MD notes of a specific provider

View all MD tab notes #

To allow a user to view all the notes in the MD tab:

  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Users
  • Select the Edit icon against the user whose settings you want to update
  • A pop-up will open
  • In the pop-up, click on the User Practice Policy setting
  • You’ll see a check-box See All in MD Tab
  • Check the checkbox
  • You’ll see a Select Location drop-down
  • You can select the locations where you want the user to view MD tab notes using this drop-down
  • Close the pop-up
  • The user will be able to view all the notes in the MD tab

 

Viewing Mapped Provider notes #

You can use this settings if you want a user to be able to view only a specific provider’s notes, instead of all the providers.

Legend offers a setting of mapped provider, which allows a user to act on behalf of a provider. If a user has a provider as their mapped provider, they will be able to see the provider’s notes, regardless of the See all notes in MD tab settings unchecked.

  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Users
  • Click Edit icon for the user whose settings you want to update
  • A pop-up will open
  • In the pop-up, click on User Setting
  • You will see a drop-down Select Provider. This setting is called Mapped provider.
  • Click on the drop-down
  • Select the provider you want this user to act on behalf of
  • Click the Update button
  • Close the pop-up
  • Now the user will be able to see the provider’s notes in the MD tab
